Wow, it can be overwhelming to pick out the right Bible software!

Here are some things to consider when purchasing Bible software:

• Consider whether you believe you will want to expand your library in the future.  Most publishers offer additional books you can purchase and download and add to your libraries.  But some publishers are more prolific than others.  You should pay special attention to the Logos Bible Software Libronix Digital Library System as it is currently offering more titles than anyone else and making new titles available almost every month.
• Consider purchasing a Library collection.  These are packages that usually contain thousands of dollars in print value of books that you can get all in one package.  Buying your books in a library package is a much more economical way to get more resource for your money.  Most publishers sell upgrades and add-on titles, but its much less expensive to get them bundled at once than it is to buy them separately.  Rule of thumb - buy the best thing you can afford!  These can be found under Logos Series X (Libronix), PC Study Bible (Biblesoft), Quickverse, eBible (Thomas Nelson Publishers), BibleWorks, WORDsearch and Zondervan.
• If you are deciding whether or not to purchase a PC vs. MAC, please keep in mind that most of the software available today is made for the PC format.  However, the main publishers are creating new MAC titles this year, with Quickverse already making great titles and Logos Bible Software for MAC expected by Spring of 2007.
• Only buy your software from an Authorized Dealer like Nehemiah Bible Software.  Unfortunately, there is a huge market for stolen or pirated Bible software.  Unfortunately, when a consumer buys illegal software, they find out too late that they are unable to upgrade or add to their software and sometimes the software is completely disabled once the serial number is reported stolen or fake.  All Authorized dealers offer at least a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on all new software - dealers who do not offer at least 30 days are at minimum violating their contracts with publishers and usually are selling illegal copies.   We are happy to verify our dealer status for you or to help you determine if another seller is legitimate.
